Looking for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift for that special someone? Consider purchasing tickets to Moon Over Midtown, a night of magic and memories at the Renaissance Raleigh North Hills Hotel on Friday, Feb. 17. Hosted by the Wild, Wacky, Wonderful Women of the World (W5), proceeds from the event will support the work of Triangle Family Services, an agency that has been battling critical issues in the community for the most vulnerable families for more than 75 years.
A cause near and dear to the hearts of many, Triangle Family Services’ mission is to “build a stronger community by strengthening the family” by providing programs in three key areas — financial stability, family safety and mental health services. Last year alone, the organization served more than 7,000 Triangle area residents with 93 percent living below the poverty level.
Feeling inspired? Tickets can be purchased here. The night promises to be one to remember with tantalizing appetizers, live music from the North Tower Band, a cash bar of wine and beer, silent and live auctions, and the wonderful ambiance of a special night out.
Throughout the evening, the W5 and Triangle Family Services Young Professionals are excited to host singles and couples activities, including Darts and Hearts, A Rose for a Dance, fortune telling, caricatures and a photo booth. You also won’t want to miss your chance to bid on silent and live auction packages such as eight box seat tickets to a Carolina Mudcats game and an “Extreme Adventure Pack,” including one tandem hang-gliding lesson and one dune lesson, two zip-line tours and one week of horseback riding camp for children.
So, all of you Romeos and Juliets out there, will we plan to see you there?
