Voices of North Hills: Jason

Bio

I was born in Weaverville, NC, just outside of Asheville. Moved to Raleigh when I was 10 and picked up saxophone soon after. Through middle and high school, sax became my thing, building up to starting a band with some buds the summer before Jr. year of High School.

My love for photography and multi-media of all sorts, worked perfectly with Old Avenue, as we made our way through the local music scene. After 4 years, including an album and a few east coast tours, I made the extremely tough decision that the road wasn’t for me. As Old Avenue continues on, I’m working for marketing and events at North Hills and am pursuing my new project, The Midtown Raleigh Show.
