Why not Archie Bell on this lineup? He performs with Craig Woolard’s band a lot. I know how to reach him if you like that info?
Randy Overton
Great ! I can’t wait
can you get a larger dance floor to accomdate the overflow of dancers
it may be a good investment for the number of events planned
Archie Bell is a great idea. As for him singing with Woolard; if Woolard is still whining and crying about his “experience” with his last band, why not just hire Bell and leave Woolard at home?! lol
Simply stated – allow reasonably sized personal coolers; some of us are driving good distances to these shows. Thank you.
We really enjoy the music but a little more courtsey from the people who come late and stand in front of the older group who come and set up chairs would be much appreciated. Parents also keep your small children off the dance area. I am afraid some kid is going to get hurt.

Sleeping Booty!!!!! So excited. Love Sleeping Booty and Liquid Pleasure. So much fun.
So how does this work beverage wise? Can we bring drinks and food or do we have to buy it there?
Aiken,
Please worry about yourself before the kids. kids like to dance and have fun too. Thats why its a family event
Are dogs allowed if well behaved and on a leash?
Wow, that was fun, but I have to agree with Aiken. Seemed to be a lot of unsupervised children and since alcohol is served, don’t know that I would necessarily consider it a family event suitable for extremely young children. Looking forward to the next one.
Yes, well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed.
Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and food are available for you to purchase.
I’m thrilled everyone enjoyed the Kickoff this year! We have a wonderful children’s dance floor available for parents with children, as well as great options for children’s dining on Thursday nights. The Chick-fil-a cow even came out to play last night! Please see the “Kids” tab on our website for more information on North Hills Kid-Friendly Dining and activities!

Yes food and beverages are there to purchase, but is it legal to bring small coolers of beer?
Can you bring in food and drink (if in Cans)
When does the crowd start to arrive? Is it difficult to find a good place to park your chairs? Thanks.
Can coolers with beer / wine be brought?
You cannot bring coolers or beverages to the show, but beverages are available for you to purchase.
TJ, concert-goers begin to arrive as early as 4:30pm. There is plenty of space to place chairs.
Unfortunately, coolers of any size are not permitted.
How does the Holiday Band get overlooked for an event like this so close to their homebase of Burlington? How about the Legends of Beach with Jackie Gore instead of karaoke act that he made famous? Chairmen of the Board? Did these acts even get contacted?
What at about Legends of Beach with Jackie Gore? He’s a local (co-founder of the Embers). Would love to see them in the line up? Nothing wrong with what you have however!
Wonderful! We are looking forward to the Sleeping Booty concert as well as the second Liquid Pleasure appearance. See you there!
Will somebody please, please, please teach the teenagers how to shag! All that swinging is going to get somebody hurt.
HAHAH YOU R OLD
LOVED North Tower this week. Great mix of tons of beach and a bit of rock and pop. The dance floor was packed. Loved the horns. So much fun! Consider having them 2 times next year instead of LP, who does not play enough beach for my taste.
I am not even close to being a teenager and I don’t shag. The shag music all sounds the same to me and is BORING. There would be plenty of room for the swing dancers if the people that just stand there in the middle of the dance floor would move OFF the dance floor.
For the life of me I don’t know why anyone would want to bring their dog to this and personally I think they should be banned. Since there are small children there, you never know when your doggie is going to get his tail pulled by a child (or some other transgression), and retaliate accordingly. I have been jumped, licked and sniffed by your “well behaved” pooch at these types of events. It is not a welcomed event. I don’t hate dogs, I have owned them most of my life, but there is a time and place for them. Please leave your poor little canine at home.
Where can we find the pictures that are taken during these events?
A well behaved dog is like a well behaved child….it’s well behaved to you the owner/parent but the rest of the world wishes you had left the dog at home, why would you even put your dog through hundreds of people, 100 degree weather, 90% humidity and not to mention the hot pavement….why? I agree with Nana, there’s a time and a place for the dogs, if you want to spend the evening with your dog, take it to the dog park
My name is Matthew Bradham and I am a pastor at Starting Point Church. I was wondering if it would be possible for us to hand out free water bottles at some of the concerts. If someone could email me at matthewbradham@gmail.com and let me know if this is possible I would be very grateful. Thanks!
Uh, people like to dance. Dancers should have priority over “chair sitters” IMO. If you set up your chairs and people go in front of you to dance…too bad.
Beach Music is very safe for young kids as well as college students. Security was AMAZING and as a parent I would trust my child there. There were no fights or anything everyone was just having a fun time.
You are missing the Legends of Beach and Mark Roberts and the Breeze band. Both of these bands are excellent. You are also missing the Fantastic Shakers.
I got a surprise birthday present when my “hubby” took me to see the Tams in June! Loved the whole atmosphere! Not sure if there was anyone selling CD’s for the band, but I never saw them. That would be great if it isn’t already happening!
Can’t wait to go back!
Why not leave your dog at home or take him to the Park. We are not thrilled to licked or sniffed by your dog. Consider all people are not dog lovers and are frighted by the touch. It is hard to relax and enjoy the music when trying to watch your dog every move. I agree with Nana. Thank you
Suggestions;
1. Lower beer prices
2. Porta-Johns
Thank You.
Please ban small children.
They’re cute and all, but they’re getting in the way of our shaggin’ & beer chuggin’.
Hire babysitters or stay at home.
We’d really appreciate it.

What a perfect outing. Everyone I have asked said they were ready to go again and again. Whoever came up with that idea to have so much fun on a Thursday night should be highly commended. Liquid Pleasure and The Embers are my favorite.
We look forward to each Thursday’s concert. We like some bands better than others but it’s live music. We’ll be there no matter who’s playing.
Love watching the young people dance as well as the old.
Thanks for providing the music every week. I love beach music and love to watch everyone shag.
Thanks sooooo much.
We’re so glad you’re enjoying it!
Any updates on the concert tonight? Possibly cancelled due to rain?
The show is still on for tonight. See you there!
I heard there are make up dates Thurs. 9/1 and 9/8…anyone know for sure?
