March, April and May Submissions – Auction and Festival June 11th

This event was a tremendous success in its first year, and grew to be a signature North Hills event in 2010.  Artists of all ages will be invited to set up around the property to paint scenes at North Hills that will be judged during a Saturday festival event.  The June festival will be an “arts festival” format featuring works from the area artists for sale and display, a silent auction, fun and relaxing live music, as well as food and beverages.  One of the great elements of this event will be the “quick paint” competition where artists will line up at easels and paint for an allotted time period with the crowd watching.  These paintings will be judged by the same panel that reviewed all of the submitted plein air artworks.
