A Day in the Life… Let’s Fly to Paris for Lunch

A Journal of Discovery through the eyes of a real-life resident of Park and Market North Hills

My love for all things French keeps colliding with my new life here at North Hills, and it’s no surprise really.  Life at Park and Market is definitely urban, but seems more European urban with pockets of delight tucked between the places that stand out and sidewalks that invite strolling at a more leisurely pace.

An earlier post reveals my fascination with food and living in France, and now I find myself living where I can walk to Paris for lunch, or dinner, or just a cool drink at a sidewalk table watching the world pass by.

If you haven’t been to Coquette yet, you may be missing a favorite part of your everyday life, a place where French food is uncomplicated, fresh, and fun.  If you are like a friend who joined me there for her first visit last week, you’ll be delighted to discover the menu is easy to read, easy on the budget, and easy to love.

Makes my mind travel back to a day years ago in London, seeing posters of Paris everywhere, that I somehow convinced my not-so-spontaneous mother to fly to Paris for lunch, just because we could.   Next time you’re feeling a bit restless, maybe you’ll discover your own corner of France under Coquette’s bright red awnings.
